City Publications Atlanta

Campaign Overview

The Trusted Toolbox has been fixing and remodeling Metro Atlanta homes since 2008, more than 16,000 of them. The Radius Campaign reached 5,600 homes and produced the biggest jobs in the book: 15 verified jobs, $61,528 in work and an average of $4,102 per job, compared with $3,896 across all 1,856 jobs in the campaign window.

The biggest single matched radius job was $27,652. For scale, the card pack running alongside the radius program covered roughly 100,000 Metro Atlanta homes and matched 249 customers worth $925,167, averaging $3,716 a job. The radius rings reached only a fraction of the homes, but the matched work came back larger on average.

Location: Atlanta, GA and Surrounding Areas

The Trusted Toolbox is based in Norcross and serves homeowners across Metro Atlanta. The campaign reached active homeowners in communities including Roswell, East Cobb, Alpharetta, Marietta, Duluth, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Johns Creek.

Why The Trusted Toolbox Needed Better Lead Attribution

Business was already strong. Over roughly eighteen months in 2025 and 2026, 1,856 jobs came through the door worth about $7.2 million. The problem was not demand. It was knowing which work advertising helped influence, which jobs came from repeat customers or word of mouth, and which neighborhoods were actually producing the strongest results.

  • There was no reliable way to separate advertising-driven work from repeat customers and word of mouth, so campaign performance was often judged on feel.
  • Target neighborhoods were being selected from memory rather than from the streets and routes where the company's revenue was actually coming from.
  • Website form leads frequently entered the records without a source attached, leaving a meaningful portion of inbound work without a clear attribution trail.

The Results: A $4,102 Average Job in Atlanta, GA

The Radius Campaign brought in the largest average matched jobs in the book. Fifteen verified jobs produced $61,528 in work, averaging $4,102 per job. That sits above the $3,716 average on card-pack jobs and above the $3,896 average across all 1,856 jobs in the campaign window.

$4,102 average radius job, the highest average among the measured channels
15 Jobs verified jobs worth $61,528 from 5,600 homes reached
$27,652 largest single verified radius job in the campaign analysis
1 per 373 homes reached produced one verified radius customer, compared with about one per 400 on the card pack
17.2% of matched value needs to carry campaign influence for the program to break even at a 20% margin
$969,592 combined value of 257 unique matched customers across the radius and card-pack programs

A matched job is not presented as proof that the mail piece deserves sole credit. It means the customer's address and a reached address are the same house, giving the business a verifiable point of overlap rather than an attribution guess. The analysis was intentionally conservative and removed matches that did not hold up under review.

The campaign does not need every matched dollar to be caused by the mail to make economic sense. At a 20% margin, only 17.2% of the matched value has to carry campaign influence for the program to pay for itself.

How the Radius Campaign Worked

A radius campaign starts with finished work. When a job is completed, that address becomes the center of a mailing ring, and the campaign reaches nearby homeowners while the truck, crew and finished result are still fresh in the neighborhood. Across the campaign, about 5,600 Atlanta homes were reached this way, roughly 800 at a time.

City Publications Atlanta then checked the company's job file against the exact addresses reached by the campaign. Eighteen jobs initially matched. Three were deliberately excluded after review, leaving 15 verified jobs in the final count. The same process was used to identify the mail routes inside each ZIP code where revenue was already concentrated, so future campaigns could be aimed at proven streets instead of broad assumptions.

Program Components

  • Radius Campaign reaching 5,600 Atlanta homes in rings around completed jobs
  • Two-zone card pack keeping the brand in roughly 100,000 Metro Atlanta homes throughout the year
  • Address-level verification of customer jobs against the exact homes reached by the campaign
  • Conservative match review that removed three jobs before final campaign results were reported
  • Mail-route mapping to identify the routes inside each ZIP code where the company's revenue was already concentrated
  • Comparison of radius, card-pack and overall job values to understand not only lead volume, but the size of the work produced

Why Atlanta Home Service Businesses Trust Us

Most advertising reports stop at the number of pieces delivered. City Publications Atlanta measures campaigns against the client's own customer and job records, then shows which results survive an address-level check and which ones do not.

  • Every reported match is checked against the client's own job records at the street-address level.
  • Jobs that fail the verification standard are removed rather than counted as campaign wins.
  • Measurement gaps are stated clearly, including form leads with no source attached or jobs stored outside the primary system.
  • Campaign targeting is refined using the routes and neighborhoods where real revenue is already appearing.

Key Benefits

Bigger Matched Jobs

Radius jobs averaged $4,102, above both the $3,716 card-pack average and the $3,896 average across all jobs in the window.

Proof You Can Check

Every claimed radius job ties back to a real customer address that was reached by the campaign, and questionable matches were removed.

Smarter Neighborhood Targeting

Mailing routes can be selected from where the company's revenue already comes from, not simply from which ZIP codes feel strongest.

A Low Bar to Profit

At a 20% margin, only 17.2 cents of each matched dollar needs to carry campaign influence for the radius program to break even.

Summary

City Publications Atlanta's Radius Campaign put The Trusted Toolbox in front of 5,600 Atlanta homes and matched 15 verified jobs worth $61,528, averaging $4,102 per job. That was the highest average matched job value among the measured channels, above the card pack's $3,716 average and the $3,896 average across all 1,856 jobs in the campaign window.

Combined with the card pack, the analysis identified 257 unique matched customers worth $969,592, or 13.9% of the full customer base. More importantly, the matchback process turned a campaign that could once only be judged by instinct into one that can be evaluated by address, job value, neighborhood and mail route.
